Man Grabs & Sexually Abuses 11-Year-Old Walking Home From School In Chicago

The 11-year-old victim was attacked and subjected to sexual abuse last week as she walked home from school, according to Chicago police, who are now searching for the man.

According to a statement from the police, the attack took place Thursday around 3:30 p.m. in the Washington Park neighbourhood.

Police claimed the perpetrator, a guy between the ages of 45 and 60, grabbed the girl from behind, covered her mouth, dragged her into an alley, and then sexually assaulted her.

According to police, the girl was able to free herself and flee. According to authorities, the perpetrator is wanted for kidnapping and severe sexual assault.
Local activists have offered a reward of $4,000 for information that results in an arrest.

A pupil from the K–8 campuses of Dulles Elementary School was attacked. The offence included a member of the school community, according to a letter from the principal of the school to the parents, but further information was withheld due to privacy concerns.

The message said, “We also want to reiterate that we take any safety concerns very seriously. The school is currently collaborating with the school district security office and Chicago police on additional safety measures.

A social media alert was also sent by the school, instructing parents to pick up their children at the front doors and advising pupils to walk in groups, put their phones away, and pay attention to their surroundings.

According to Chicago police, no arrests had been made as of Monday, and detectives were still looking into the matter.
