Lawfully speaking, Joe Exotic is now back to being single since his divorce has been finalized, recorded, and delivered.
According to court documents, the “Tiger King” star’s divorce from his now ex-husband Dillon Passage was formalized on Tuesday in Santa Rosa County, Florida. A judge gave his approval for each man to leave the country unmarried and unattached.
Joe and Dillon had been apart for a while, but their divorce wasn’t finalized until last March. There have also been some bumps in the road, as well as new romances for both of them.
As you are aware, JE has had relationships with at least a few other men while he has been incarcerated. In fact, he was even planning to wed one of his fellow inmates before things fell through in June.
We speculate that Joe might commit suicide in the future now that the divorce from Dillon is finalized. He seems to fall in love very quickly, and who doesn’t enjoy a little exotic in their life? Anyway, the only further important event is that Joe will resume using his former name.
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage was his prior name, but now that the Passage is no longer there, he has returned to using this three-name moniker. He will always be seen as one thing, of course. Who you ask will determine what that is, we suppose.
There were no children between Joe and Dillon, and everything else was settled by negotiation. Throughout the proceedings, Joe was represented by attorney Autumn Beck Blackledge.
