Authorities said that a 14-year-old kid was shot and killed on Friday in Northern California.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, the adolescent was discovered unconscious and gunshot-wounded at approximately 9 p.m. in the front yard of a residence in the North Highlands neighbourhood close to Sacramento.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown, and the sheriff’s office was not immediately aware of any prospective suspects.
According to the sheriff’s department, a 911 caller who located the teen told officers they had heard gunshots. The teen was declared deceased at the scene; his name was not disclosed right away.
