6 Kids Killed In Apparent Murder-Suicide At Oklahoma Home, 2 Adult Suspects Dead

According to police, six children were killed in an apparent murder-suicide at their home in a Tulsa, Oklahoma, suburb.

The two adult suspects were also discovered dead at the Broken Arrow home after crews responded to a fire there Thursday afternoon, according to Broken Arrow Police Chief Brandon Berryhill at a news conference Friday.

According to the chief, the children ranged in age from one to thirteen years old.
Officials believe none of the victims died as a result of the fire, but the medical examiner will make the final determination, according to Broken Arrow Fire Chief Jeremy Moore.

Berryhill stated that firearms were recovered from the residence.
Firefighters arrived at the house around 4:05 p.m. and discovered two adults in the front yard “obviously deceased,” Moore said, adding that their deaths appeared criminal in nature. According to Moore, the fire was focused on one room in the back of the house, and while attempting to extinguish that fire, responders discovered the children.

Berryhill claims there is no danger to the public. Berryhill stated that police have not been called to this residence in recent years.
